Scope and content

On the verso in pen and brown ink and in pencil is a preliminary sketch for the finished watercolour on the recto. This work depicts an Indian family walking with their possessions and horses towards a teepee encampment.
Similar in composition to acc. no. 1989-176-142 [A band of Indians changing camps, Crooked Lakes Reserve].
