Scope and content
View of London with factories, roads and houses. Dundas street runs down the middle of the city, along with the McCormack biscuit factory, which was later torn down to build the new City Hall and square. The stumps in the foreground were later cleared to build Federal Square. This print was published in Sir James Alexander's book, L' Acadie, or Seven Years Explorations in British America, (London, 1849).
