Scope and content

View of a British fort overlooking a body of water. This work was removed fr the middle of page 37 in the Thompson Album.
Bartlett's Canadian prints were originally published in Nathaniel P. Willis' Canadian Scenery, published in London in 1840 and republished in several editions thereafter. Most first editions have only English captions while subsequent editions have tri-lingual captions.
