Four generations of the Gros-Louis family of Wendake (Lorette). L-R: François Gros-Louis Hatsenharonkwas (1811-1871), his wife Marie Germain, their son Daniel Gros-Louis. Following (sitting) is the father of François, also named François Gros-Louis Oteiondi, and at the right Francis Gros-Louis Sassenio, also the son of François and Marie Germain, who was grand chief of the Huron-wendat Nation from 1900 to 1905 (also chief of the council starting from the 1860s).
