Scope and content

This image depicts the Royal party approaching a lumberman's shanty in the Rockcliffe woods. The duchess of Cornwall and York approaches as she holds an umbrella (centre left). Countess Mary Minto, wife of the Governor General, walks beside the future queen while the Duke of Cornwall and York (future George V) walks slightly behind (centre right). As the Royal party approaches, the lumbermen take off their hats.
