This image depicts the Duke of Cornwall and York presenting the South African war medal to veterans after the unveiling of the statue of Queen Victoria on Parliament Hill. The view of the future king George V is obscured in the image by several other officers. The Duchess of Cornwall and York stands to the centre left dressed in black and shielded by an umbrella.
