Scope and content

This image depicts the Royal party visiting a lumberman's shanty in the Rockcliffe woods. The ladies have just been seated: the future Queen Mary (centre, right) is dressed in black and shields herself under an umbrella while to her right the Countess of Minto turns to speak to someone. The future George V stands in the centre foreground smoking while Lady Zoe Laurier (left) speaks with two other gentlemen.
