Scope and content

This image depicts the Royal party visiting a lumberman's shanty in the Rockcliffe woods. The future George V stands in the centre foreground with the Duchess of Cornwall and York, who is dressed in black, standing to his right. The Earl of Minto (the Governor General of Canada at this time) and his wife Countess Mary of Minto stand to the far right. Lady Zoe Laurier stands to the left of the Duke of Cornwall and York in the company of three other ladies.
