Scope and content

This group represents the seventh historic group at the Historical Fancy Dress Ball hosted by Lord and Lady Aberdeen on February 17th, 1896. They are striking a pose from their farandole, the dance that they had performed at the ball. Front row: Miss Hill; Mrs. Macdonnell; H.C. Monk; Mrs. H.C. Monk as "Madame de St. Ours"; Miss J.
