Scope and content
In the valley of the Fraser River, in British Columbia, Dutch experts have used methods well known in Holland to create a polder of 8,000 acres, of which 2,000 are under cultivation. There is nothing like a Dutch sabot for a childhood voyage! The farms of the polder, from 80 to 100 acres in size, are rented, and the lessee must furnish his own herd of cattle.
