This is an image of a community meeting. In 1965 many people were moving into the community from their lands around Cumberland Sound. Etuangat was well known. He worked for many years for the hospital, taking the doctors around the Sound by dogteam to make their rounds. In his old age he was a walking encyclopedia of Inuit knowledge. He died a few years ago in his mid 90s. Jim Kilabuk was well known too. He worked for the HBC in Pangnirtung for many years, and died in 1983.
