The caption for this photograph implies the women cross the river from Sainte-Foy to Québec; however, another photograph of the same scene states that the women cross the ferry from Levis, Quebec to Québec city (see WRM 2161)

Sainte-Foy is on the same land mass as Québec city so it is unlikely they would be arriving from Sainte-Foy.
