Following note appears on the map: " Accompanying Place Names in Northern Canada by James White, F.R.S.C., F.R.G.S."
Includes source of information : " This map has been compiled from the British Admiralty charts covered by later information obtained by Perry and Sverdrup Expeditions and by the surveys made on the Neptune in 1903-1904."
