Textual record The finding aid is an unverified, typed and handwritten list indicating box number, file number, date of incident, plane, location and pilot. The finding aid consists of two parts: Checklist/Index and file list. Consult the File list to determine the file number. Using this number, verify against Checklist/Index to determine the appropriate box number. Please note that the letter prefixes indicate region. 13086-1 66 (Paper)

Additional information

Accession consists of Regional Air Occurrence files from the 825 series. The reports pertain to aviation occurrences investigated by the Canadian Aviation Safety Board. Reports indicate location, pilot license, pilot hours, injuries, type of aircraft, findings, and provide a summary report of the occurrence. File contents include (but are not limited to) incident reports, legal correspondence, engineering reports, aircraft technical logs, pilot logs, photographs of crash sites, and casette tapes. Files are arranged by regional index letter denoting Atlantic, Central, Headquarters, Ontario, Quebec, Western, and Pacific regions.
