Additional information

Custodial history
Since mid 1993 when Industry Canada began to take shape, the Industry Sector has undergone many organizational changes. It was originally known as the Industry and Science Policy Sector, and included branches devoted to providing service to specialized areas of the economy, such as Service Industries and Small Businesses, and Manufacturing and Processing Industries. Although the name of the sector has changed, the sector's focus in supporting industrial development and growth as part of Industry Canada's economic development mandate has remained constant.

Further accruals are expected.
