Scope and content

Inspection reports of Ordnance lands and Military posts in the wset of Nova Scotia, made in 1855 by Lt. Col. Stotherd, R.E., leases of land for Duke of York's Battery, Digby, plans and traces accompanying Mr. Ince's reports of Nova Scotia, state of barracks, buildings, etc., at Annapolis, on the 14th May 1858, Mr. Ince's report on works, fortifications, etc., in the Maritime Provinces (part of ) 1859, inspection reports by Capt. Warren, R.E., and others, 1860, 1861, 1871, statements of property vested in the Secretary of State for War, 1858 and 1859, notes on perambulation at Shelburne, legal opinion on power of Provincial Goverment to grant reserve lands, etc. 40 plans.
