Scope and content

This series contains 239 nitrate and glass-plate negatives of cityscapes and industrial scenes in Ontario, Québec and Alberta. There are a large amount of photographs of lumbering scenes. Some of the hunting photographs are attributed to photographer A.A. Pinard, while others are attributed to W.D.S. Scheff. There are many images of people engaged in recreational activities, including skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, and sailing. There are some photographs of the Prince of Wales in Ottawa during his tour of Canada in 1919.
