Scope and content
This series contains 698 photographs of rural and urban landscape scenes in Canada, including many photographed in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Québec. Included in this series are numerous photographs of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's tour of Canada, and visit to Jasper National Park, in 1914. Also included are some photographs of British, Irish and Scottish landscapes; in addition to portraits of new immigrants arriving at the Québec immigration center in 1911.
Nitrate negatives do not circulate. Must
be consulted at Preservation Centre.

2. The S likely stands for "Stock," in that these photographs were likely used for commercial purposes. As they came from the "C" series, these photographs were termed as "SC".
