Additional information

These records form part of the headquarters central registry system on administrative and policy matters. The subjects of the files concern conditions among the Eskimos (1929-1959), arctic expeditions (1940S, 1950S), patrol reports, assistance to movie companies (1940-1970), scrip issued after the 1885 rebellion, land reserves as well as the Musical Ride, horses, training films and the Royal Tour of 1939. An older series of files include material on RCMP buildings (1886, 1912), general orders (1897, 1902), The Prince Albert volunteers and patrol reports for "F" Division (1895). Other files document force polity or regulations regarding recruiting of special constables in 1939, recreational clubs, clothing, equipment, firearms and manuals.
