Additional information
Boxes 1-10 of this accession are Adjudication Directorate case files; there are more comprehensive, "thicker" case files as well as "thin" files represented in this accession (see description of similar files in accession V1985-86/465). The decisions on the files appear to have been made in 1983-1984. The remainder of the accession, boxes 11-17, consists only of envelopes containing shorthand or stenographic tape transcriptions of individual adjudication proceedings extracted from case files. Each envelope is labelled with the immigrant's case file number and the Adjudicator's name.
