Additional information
These Industry, Trade and Commerce central registry files originated in the office of the assistant deputy minister for Industrial Development, the Defense Programs Branch, and departmental correspondence on both the Industrial Research and Development Incentives Act and the Program for Advanced Industrial Technology. There are also files from inter-departmental correspondence with the Department for Regional Economic Expansion (over incentives to industry). There is a substantial file on the possible impact upon the Enterprise Development Program from an American countervailing action against an American subsidiary which had received a PAIT grant. Finally there are a run of company case files for grants under the Program for Export Market Development.
