Additional information
Box 1 of this accession contains Adjudication Directorate case files of cases appealed to the Federal Court of Canada (FCC) during the period 1979-1981. Box 2 also contains files of cases appealed to the Immigration Appeal Board (IAB). The files are given the prefix FCC or IAB and a sequential identifying number. The files generally contain photocopies of major case documents accumulated for and at the Adjudication hearing, the main adjudication reports, and documents referring the case to a higher level; these are bound into formal reports. Also included is a copy of the transcript of proceedings. A more complete description of this kind of material is given in accession V85-86/465.
