This accession contains operational and administrative files created by the Yellowknife office for the period 1960-1988. These files cover a great variety of subjects: transfer of responsibility, federal legislation, clubs and associations, ceremonies, interministerial committees, conferences, cooperation and liaison, buildings, project portfolios (protection of caribou, oil exploration, etc.) land administration, mining company files, hydro-electric development, threatened bird species, management of subsidies to native groups, job creation, etc. These records are held at the Pacific Regional Service Centre in Burnaby, B.C.
