Additional information
The Records in this accession consist of Chinese immigration case files accumulated and, in the vast majority of cases, created in the Vancouver Regional Office of the Immigration Branch. Although the inclusive dates of these files are 1952-1982 the predominent dates of the records are 1975-1982. While the majority of the files have been classified or reclassified into the XY series, many of the file jackets still bear the prefixes PCH or 5133-CH.
