Scope and content

The accession consists of personal and political photographic material of Rt. Hon. Jean Chrétien, documenting his carrer as the Prime Minister of Canada from 1993 to 2003. Included are virtually every public event in which M. Chrétien participated, and including meetings with most world leaders of the era. Most of the photographs were taken by Jean-Marc Carisse and Diana Murphy, but additional photographs were also taken by (in no particular order) Bruce Hartley, Louise Ross, Jim Bartleman, Diane Ross, Marc Fung, Jean Carle, Monique Bondair, F.
