Series consists of photographs including: portraits of prominent women such as Mrs. Hanington, Chief Superintendent of the Victorian Order of Nurses; Mary Ritter Hamilton, painter; Lady Tashereau; Mme D.H. Girouard; Lady Sybil Gray; Mrs. Hazen; wedding groups by Pittaway, Ottawa, and Castonguay, Ottawa; Rideau Canel and locks; Laurier House interiors; Macbeth family portraits and snapshots of Earl Gray; Sir Wilfrid Laurier, and Sir Robert Borden. Other photographs include: in B.C. for "With the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies" and "Madeleine Turner", the only female guide in the Rockies; flood scenes for "Little Drops of Water"; travel scenes from "From London to Fort Mackay"; snapshots for "Opening Connaught Park"; shots of Miss Campbell, one of the first two police women in Ottawa for "An Ottawa Woman Police"; views of Atlantic City for the "Largest Easter Parade in the World"; shots for "The Great Publican Congress"; and shots for "With the Horniman Players". Available are negatives by Madge Macbeth of sports activities, china objects, crafts, Princess Patricia Infantry, Sifton Automobile Machine Gun Battery, industries (fishing, oil, basket marketing, axe-making, horse, clothing factory), fire sanitation and hospital scenes, landscapes in Gaspe, St. Jovite, Quebec, and Muskoka, Ontario; town scenes, house views, in Rama Indian Reserve Cree Indians, Sask.; first aid training; scenes in P.E.I., N.B., Alta., Sask., B.C.; landscape prints from Dept. of the Interiors and prints of "Trail Riders at Wapta Bunglow Camp, Yoho National Park, B.C.", ca. 1925; Bliss Carmen at "Memorial Celebration" to David Thompson in Windemere, B.C.; mahogany logging in British Honduras; two prints of B.C. by Mrs. Schaeffer Warren; and two prints of broadcast of "Superwoman" or "Every Woman", a radio play by Madge Macbeth, at CNRO, with Madge Macbeth and cast.
