Series consists of records related to vital statistics created and maintained by the Department. The records in this series include registers and records of births and deaths for Duck Lake Agency Bands, 1886-1903 (Vols. 9994-9995); for the James Smith Band, Duck Lake Agency, 1909 (Vol. 9997); for File Hills-Qu'Appelle Agency Bands, 1897-1924 (Vol. 10001); for Kamloops Agency Bands, 1901-1907 (Vol. 10006); and for Battleford Agency, 1923-1939 (Vol. 12368). Also included are proof of age summaries, 1954-1965 (Vols. 10032- 10034); indexes to registers for Fort St. John, William's Lake and Prince George Districts, 1899-1988 (Vols. 13271-13278); and indices for various agencies in British Columbia (Vols. 13279-13296).
