Album contains snapshots documenting personnel, equipment and operations of the Hudson Strait Expedition, 1927-28. Views include Bases 'B' and 'C' at Wakeham Bay, NWT, Nottingham Island, Hudson Bay Company Post at Payne Bay, views of Fokker aircraft, HI, HJ, & HE in hangar and readying for takeoff. Subjects include Inuit igloos, Komatik sled and dog team, Inuit relaxing at play, portraits of Inuit women and children wearing traditional clothing. Photographer is likely Wing Commander Frank S. Coghill of the RCAF, a participant in the expedition.
