Album of photographs relating to planning for the construction of the CANOL oil pipeline by the Bechtel Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd. from 1942 onwards in the NWT. Album contains photographs of waterways, the Prairies, Fort McMurray, Abasand, Fort Fitzgerald, Fort Smith, views taken down the MacKenzie River with the Distributor to Norman Wells and CANOL camp, and Edmonton. Photographs by Richard Finnie.
