Album contains photographs of the construction of the Alaska Highway and the CANOL (Canadian Overland Oil Pipeline) project between January 28 and April 5, 1943. Included are overland views taken from Edmonton to Whitehorse, photographs of the start of the western end of Canol Road, photographs taken during the Sheldon Lake Flight, views of Whitehorse, Carcross, Skagway and Haines. The photographs illustrate various aspects of these construction projects. Photographs by Richard Finnie.
