Biographie / Histoire administrative

The Stuart Lake Agency in British Columbia was formed from the 23 December, 1910 division of the Babine and Upper Skeena Agency. The agency headquarters was located at the following sites: Fraser Lake(1910-1916); Vanderhoof (1938-1964); and Prince George (1964-1969). The Stuart Lake Agency was amalgamated with the Burns Lake Agency in 1968 to form the Lakes District office. Finding aid 10-202: Guide to Indian Bands and Agencies in British Columbia.
