Sub-sub-series consists of extracts of passenger manifests for ships arriving at four U.S. Atlantic seaboard ports, 1 July 1905 to 1 November 1921, and at Boston and Providence, 1925-1928. The extracts were copied by or for the Canadian Immigration service from official U.S. Immigration ships' manifests. The lists include only the names of passengers who declared their intention of proceeding immediately to Canada from the port of arrival, along with the usual personal information. Each extract consists of anywhere from one or two up to several hundred names. The ports for which manifests are included are: Boston, 1 July 1905 to 4 November 1921, Baltimore, 2 July 1905 to 16 July 1914, New York, 2 July 1905 to 11 June 1921, (supplementary to lists in RG76-C-1-e only), and Portland, Maine, January 1906 to 28 November 1920. There are also a few scattered lists for Philadelphia and Providence.

This microfilm was produced by the Department during the 1950's and 1960's under microfilm authority M6-62. The originals were then destroyed.
