Accession consists of Molson Family estate documents, personal correspondence and official notices. Estate documents include; wills(1769-1918), [originals and true copies], property transfers, partitions, deeds of sale and the marriage contract between William A. Molson and Esther Edith Shepherd (1877); correspondence between John Molson Sr. and John Molson Jr. and correspondence and receipts between William Nelson, in whose house John Molson Jr. lived and studied, and John Molson Sr.(1796-1799). Also included is W.A. Molson's notice of appontment as Justice of the Peace, Province of Quebec, (1889), and Molson Family newsprint obituaries and biographical notes. Donated by David Hobart Molson, Vancouver B. C. 1996.
