Biographie / Histoire administrative
The 10th Canadian Infantry Brigade was part of the 4th Canadian Division and was formed from Battalions recruited in Western Canada. The brigade included the 44th, 46th, 47th and 50th Battalions and was commanded successively by Colonel G.S. Tuxford (January 1916 to March 1916), Lieutenant-Colonel H. Snell (March 1916 to April 1916), Colonel F.S. Meighen (April 1916 to July 1916), and Brigadier-Generals W.St.P. Hughes (July 1916 to January 1917), E. Hilliam (January 1917 to November 1917), R.J.F. Hayter (December 1917 to October 1918), J.M. Ross (October 1918 to January 1919). The 10th Canadian Infantry Brigade was demobilized in January 1919.
