The records are classified first by District: 702 "Fort McMurray", 773 "Blood", 774 "Edmonton", 775 "Fort Vermilion", 777 "Saddle Lake" and 779 "Lesser Slave Lake"; they are further classified by reserve number. The records originated in the Dept. of Indian and Northern Affair's Engineering and Architecture Section, Alberta and the Prairie Design Centre, Saskatoon or are copies of drawings submitted by contracting architectural and engineering firms. There are also a few records from outside agencies such as the Public Health Engineering Division of the Dept. of National Health and Welfare. The projects deal with buildings, water and sewage systems, town sites, roads and airstrips. These records are held at the Pacific Regional Service Centre in Burnaby, B.C.
