Cupids, Newfoundland
In celebration of the 400th anniversary of Canada's first English settlement, the Portrait Gallery of Canada, a program of Library and Archives Canada, is proud to bring Portraits in the Street to Atlantic Canada for the first time.
This outdoor installation—presented in collaboration with Cupids 400 Inc.—features 18 framed reproductions of works from the national portrait collection, brought together around the theme of new beginnings and first contacts.
Visit Cupids, Newfoundland this summer to see portraits of known individuals and everyday citizens whose lives and actions have shaped this country, from the Atlantic to the Pacific, over the past four centuries!
