Ross to Hughes - Sir Sam Hughes - We were there
Sir Charles Ross, Industrialist, to Major General Sir Sam Hughes, Minister of Militia and Defence: Letter Regarding the Ross Rifle, June 23, 1915
To reestablish the reputation of the Ross, Sir Sam Hughes told Sir Charles to provide him with a report on the rifle that bore his name. This letter summarizes Ross’s main comments.
