Trains, Planes and Automobiles

Robert Borden bicycled to Parliament Hill, and Wilfrid Laurier took the street car, although both were provided with a car and chauffeur. Use of a train was also a traditional perquisite of prime ministers, especially during election campaigns. Today our leaders have access to all modes of travel, but not without some controversy.
