Yarns. July 1941

Yarns was a peculiarity among the pulps. Rather than focusing on stories from a single genre, it presented a mix of westerns, crime, adventure and sports stories: "good, rip-snorting yarns that keep you in breathless suspense right to the climax," claimed the editors. The bright, action-packed cover is by Joseph Dreany, who sets his Mountie against a background reminiscent of the Group of Seven.
