The Colonel. May-June 1943
The eponymous star of the Norman Book Co.'s The Colonel proves himself eminently resistable. The humour in this "bachelor's magazine" is decidely politically incorrect; if it has a saving grace, it is that women generally get the upper hand over their amorous suitors in the magazine's cartoons and stories.
