Stag - The Man's Magazine started out in a full-sized magazine format, but switched to a smaller digest format within a year of its first issue. Month after month, the magazine's unsettlingly cheerful mascot shared cover space with a variety of pin-up stars, bathing beauties and girls-next-door.
