If the covers were any indication of the contents, Pastime Publications' Action Novels series certainly delivered action. Although there is no date on the book, it was probably published some time between 1946, when Pastime first appeared as a force in Canadian pulp publishing, and 1948, when it was bought by Al Valentine.
