Similar to such titles as Domino Noir and Les exploits fantastiques de Max Beaumont, Les aventures étranges de l'Agent IXE-13, l'as des espions canadiens followed its title character's adventures for hundreds of issues. Along with the other titles, its cover design consciously mimicked the look of French and European publications featuring such popular characters as Fantomas and Arsene Lupin.
