English Titles in Alternate Formats
The following titles are available from the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) Library in Toronto. The original print format has been transcribed into braille, and the print and braille formats have been bound together so that a visually impaired parent can read with a sighted child and vice versa.
LIGHTS FOR GITA
Gita celebrates the festival of Divali in Canada for the first time.
As Kim, a Korean-born child who had been adopted by a Canadian family, approaches her teens, she must deal with the usual adolescent problems.
Isobel, a 12-year-old girl whose father is a Scottish farmer and whose mother is a Peigan Indian, must come to terms with her heritage.
