Philippe Falardeau's imagination is truly boundless. To suspect that his school principal is an extraterrestrial, that the dental hygienist is really the tooth fairy and that the letter carrier is a spy comes as no surprise. But when he thinks that his teacher just might be a witch, he decides to carry out his own investigation to unmask her. First of all, he needs to gather the evidence. Philippe has noticed that she likes to dress in black, that she has a black cat and that she always stores her broom in the classroom cupboard. With Halloween fast approaching, will Philippe have enough time to confront her and reveal her true identity to his classmates?

Élaine Turgeon has once again created an absolutely whacky, inventive and very funny short novel. Marie-Claude Favreau's black and white drawings are equally amusing and capture the joyful spirit of the book perfectly.
