Christian hates school but not because he has trouble with mathematics. The problem is he doesn't like Marc-Antoine! Every day during their bus ride, Marc-Antoine insults and threatens Christian. Fortunately, the next-door neighbour, Nick, helps Christian overcome his problem. Nick is a Mohawk craftsman who makes dream catchers in his workshop, The Falcon's Nest. He passes on the wisdom of his people to Christian through the stories he tells him. With the help of sound advice from Nick, will Christian find the inner strength he needs to avoid future problems?

Marie Roberge draws inspiration for her writing from her travels and the people she meets, including Nick, who is actually a friend of hers. This first novel is written very simply and humorously. Jean-François Beaulieu's illustrations for Birch Bark Comics, which are perfectly suited to the story, are inspired by Japanese mangas.
