“In this building are found the Governor General's Office, the Privy Council room, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Militia, the Secretary of State, the Finance and Audit Offices, the Registrar, the Receiver General, the Secretary of State for the Provinces, the Customs and the Inland Revenue departments. From the east side of this building an extensive view is obtained, embracing the lower town and the country beyond it.”
