Library and Archives Canada invites the public to celebrate Canadian film during Genie week

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is proud to be collaborating with the regional host committee for the 29th Annual Genie Awards by inviting the public to a number of film screenings during the week preceding the awards ceremony.

Put some Genie in your lunch during Genie week

During Genie week, Canada's eight best short films, nominated in the categories Best Live Action Short Drama and Best Animated Short will be screened. All films will be shown in LAC's Auditorium at 395 Wellington Street, Ottawa, from noon to 1:30 p.m., March 30 to April 3; however there is no presentation on Thursday, April 2. Films are rated 18+. Free Admission.
