Canadian Talent Library fonds.  - [ca. 1967]-[ca. 1980].  - 1.85 m of textual records.  - approx.  1,700 photographs.  - 605 audio tape reels.  - 1 audio tape cassette. 

Administrative history
Non-profit company founded through the efforts of radio director J.  Lyman Potts for the purpose of producing and distributing recordings of Canadian works and of Canadian artists. 

Scope and content
The fonds contains records pertaining to the musical activities of the organization:  monthly newsletters; catalogues; documents on recording sessions; files on individuals and groups, consisting of correspondence, financial records, contracts, biographical documents, etc.; photographs of artists; sound recordings of composers and performers, including Lucio Agostini, Howard Cable, Jimmy "Trump" Davidson, Maureen Forrester, Mart Kenney, Wally Koster and Denny Vaughan. 

Immediate source of acquisition:  acquired from the Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent on Record in 1993.
