Biographical sketch
Clarinettist, professor and teacher, Avrahm Galper has performed with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the CBC Symphony Orchestra and the Canadian Opera Company orchestra.  He also taught for many years at the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto) and the University of Toronto.  Galper is the author of the two-volume manual Clarinet for Beginners

Scope and content
The fonds contains records pertaining to the musical career of Avrahm Galper:  caricatures, notes, questions and answers (on covers of orchestral parts folders) exchanged between Galper and Helmut Kallmann. 

Immediate source of acquisition:  acquired from Avrahm Galper in 1974.
